This program significantly contribute towards the reduction of under 05 and infant mortality rates of children in Sri Lanka · We facilitate in improving care and feeding practices of lactating and pregnant mothers through setting up nutrition and health promoters at community level and the provision of counseling services · We provide economic assistance to household’s in securing household income, equipping families to meet the educational/developmental needs of children · We foster food security of households, particularly in adhering to the nutrition diet and in meeting the daily energy requirements of the family · We support communities to access social protection means by setting up community groups and developing skills.
